Colt McCoy graduated as the winningest quarterback in college history, winning 45 of his 53 starts during a storied four-year career at the University of Texas, from 2006 to 2009. He set numerous school records including the NCAA record for highest single-season completion percentage of 76.7 percent. He is the only quarterback in college football

During his rookie campaign Colt started 8 games for the Cleveland Browns. His rookie season was highlighted by a victory over the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. He accumulated 1,576 Passing Yards and 7 total touchdowns.
Considered a “once in a lifetime college quarterback” by NFL.com, McCoy’s name can be found all over the NCAA record books after 4 successful seasons at national power Texas. Colt won 45 games as a starting quarterback at Texas, more than any quarterback in NCAA Division 1 history.
After his outstanding senior season in which he led his team to the BCS National Championship game, Colt was awarded 13 of the 15 major college player awards including the Davey O’Brien, Maxwell, Walter Camp, and AT&T ESPN All-America Player of the Year Awards. In addition, he was twice selected as a Heisman Trophy finalist, finishing 2nd in 2008 and 3rd in 2009.
Colt also starred as a prep athlete at Jim Ned H.S. in Tuscola, TX, where he was twice named first-team all-state as a Quarterback, once as point guard, and qualified for regionals three times in track. Colt is also the co-author of two books, The Real Win: A Man’s Quest for Authentic Success which was released in 2013 and Growing up Colt: A Father, a Son, a Life in Football, which was written with his father Brad McCoy.
Many say that Colt’s success in life comes due to his leadership and personality. Off of the field, Colt is extremely involved in the community through mission trips, including a trip to Peru and multiple hospital visits to Austin’s Children’s Hospital.
