Ralph’s story begins at age 25 when found himself in debt, jobless, and a patient of a treatment center for cocaine and alcohol addiction. Strangis shares his journey in overcoming his alcoholism, addiction and anxiety disorders his addiction in his autobiographical book, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star…“ He was able to persevere over the trials set before him and will now be coming up on his 27th year of sobriety after his stay at Hazelden in May of 1986. Strangis has made an incredible comeback by rising to the top of his profession, and becoming a respected, in-demand, corporate speaker and emcee.
He has spoken to tens of thousands of people in a variety of settings and circumstances serving as an emcee, charity host, auctioneer, and motivational speaker. His clients include: “Big Brothers Big Sisters”, “TXU Energy”, and “Insphere Insurance Solutions.” Additionally, Ralph has been in three films, including the Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer feature “Glory Road” with also having an acting career onstage in 4 Dallas theater productions in the last 5 years.
