Kerry Cook’s story helps audiences push through their greatest challenges to re-energize and engage them to find greater hope, happiness, and inspiration.

This is not a story about the misconduct that falsely put Kerry in prison, it’s about the hope and determination that got him out and how he triumphed in a circumstance where “everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.”  Speaking from this experience, Kerry connects with audiences.  He has an authentic and honest approach to empower others with ways they can triumph through mental, emotional, relational, or situational challenges.

At only 21, as an illiterate high-school drop-out, he bravely transformed who and what he was, embarking on a 47-year journey of personal growth becoming the definition of resilience.  The steel spikes Kerry used to scale the steepest and insurmountable mountains, battling against the worst storms, refusing to stop until reaching the summit – were his mental toolbox of Hope, Empowerment, Assertiveness, Resiliency, and Tenacity – – H.E.A.R.T.  These are the same ideas that audiences can learn and use for their own ascension, today.

His ineffable story spans losing everything imaginable, four capital murder trials, three convictions, a hung jury, over two decades on death row, and even the loss of his own family.  His 47-year ascension “climbing out” of the deepest circumstances equipped him with the tools to share with others so they can truly triumph in life and at work.  Audience members learn the path to greater positivity, achieving greater goals and happiness, are empowered to take more ownership of their own circumstances, learn to become more confident in their abilities, and discover ways to achieve true resilience with the grit to keep going no matter what.
