David Lewis is an expert on building culture, driving growth, and navigating change.  For 18 years David helped build the staffing industry giant Express Employment Professionals, rising from a branch manager to serving as Vice President of Franchising.  Under his leadership developing a global growth strategy, Express grew to more than 800 locations in three countries with annual revenue of $3.5 billion.  Under David’s innovative leadership, Express was ranked the #1 staffing franchise in America for 8 consecutive years by Entrepreneur while employing more than 500,000 people annually.  David was named one of North America’s “100 Most Influential People” by Staffing Industry Analysts.

Following Express, David helped found and served as Chief Operating Officer of Stability Holdings, a cannabis industry startup which sold at an $88 million valuation just 3 years from creation – making Stability one of America’s most successful startups while also being named Oklahoma’s “Innovator of the Year” in 2019.  Cannabis Business Times named Stability the #5 “Top Business to Work For” in North America, a result of Lewis’ talent for building a successful company culture.

With a passion and eye for spotting trends, David has backed nearly 20 startups as an angel investor, counting numerous successful exits, including one “unicorn” valued at over $1 billion, with thousands of new jobs created while driving disruption of legacy industries.

Lewis graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School in New York City, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School in the United Kingdom, both in addition to his bachelor’s degree in Business from Southern Nazarene University.  He is a lifetime member of MENSA, the international high IQ society and has been featured in two documentary films.  David resides in Oklahoma with his wife Jodi and sons Bauer and Beckham, who are all active in supporting Prevent Child Abuse America where they have helped raise more $500,000 for child abuse prevention.
